Brent began practicing law in 1992. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Fayette County Bar Associations and serves as a volunteer for Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers. Early in his legal career
he drafted the complaint which led to the largest jury verdict in terms of monetary compensation in Fayette County history. Brent has extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil litigation and has tried numerous cases ranging from homicide to driving under the influence. From 2007 until 2009, Brent served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge John F. Wagner, Jr. where he gained invaluable insight in to
the judiciary. Brent serves as a guest lecturer at the Duquesne University School of Law on the topics of attorney ethics and the disciplinary process. His areas of practice include:
criminal defense, divorce, child custody, parental rights, family law, and personal injury.
